Can you please help me idnetify my volt meters etc.
I have one with a UA (the U is in running writing kind of)

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but it is
microammeter
voltmeter
ammeter
milliammeter
some voltmeters will have a ~ underline and some a _ underline. These are different scales I think, with the ~ one being for smaller measurements.

the A is an ammeter- which measures current, in Amperes (or Amps for short)
the uA is a microammeter which measures current in the millionths of Amperes range (ie 10 to the -6 amps)
the V is a voltmeter, for measuring volts

Both Voltmeters & Ammeters can have a ~ underline and a _ underline. These are not different scales but ~ refers to AC while _ refers to DC..

The straight line under V indicates direct current and a wave under V indicates alternative current.
