Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but it is

microammeter
voltmeter
ammeter
milliammeter

some voltmeters will have a ~ underline and some a _ underline. These are different scales I think, with the ~ one being for smaller measurements.

the A is an ammeter- which measures current, in Amperes (or Amps for short)
the uA is a microammeter which measures current in the millionths of Amperes range (ie 10 to the -6 amps)
the V is a voltmeter, for measuring volts
hope this helps
cheers

Both Voltmeters & Ammeters can have a ~ underline and a _ underline. These are not different scales but ~ refers to AC while _ refers to DC..

The straight line under V indicates direct current and a wave under V indicates alternative current.
