Flammables Cabinet

Question : If I have a locking flammables cabinet do I have to store it in my chemical store room? As I mentioned earlier I am having mine vented but have been asked if it can be moved out of the chemstore so that there is more room for the pipe work. I have no idea I guess It shouldn't be a problem...

ooooooh I am so going to try those my dishwasher and the cupboard next to it (where all the plumbing for the washer is) smells like I have a flatulant year nine boy residing in there. :giggle:

Yes we have a risk rating X=Extream, H =high risk, M=Medium risk, L=Low risk is that what you mean?

I keep three copies of everthing one on usb, one on my computers hard drive and one on my drive of the schools network thingie, is a pain remembering to update them all and as yet i have not had to use any backups!

I get paid for 30 hours a week for 42 weeks,over the whole year. So I get paid the same every fortnight. The hourly rate on my pay slip is $21 but that is because it gets averaged out over the whole year, but at the end of the day im only on about $32,000 a year

Maybe use a crucible and a bunsen burner? can get it hotter than a hot plate but you will have to keep a constant eye on it

Hi all,
I have been asked for som carbon samples for a prac testing conductivity, lustre, brittleness and heat conduction? Do you think the lead out of a pencil would do? I need it for tomorrow. If you can think of anything else that that would be more suitable let me know.

All of my trolleys have come from trolley master ( one of the advertisers) they come with free shipping which is a bonus, the one I have a three tier some with two handels and some with one , find they work well and they have a non slip surface and fit my mish mash of tubs tote tray etc on no worrie...

Don't have chemwatch, googled it and found one. It's for an organic chemistry demo for yr 11's he got it from the grounds man straight from the lawn mower!
