acid spill in primary school

Post by lada »

Did you hear that primary school children in Qld were taken to hospital with burns and irritation after 20L of acid spilt in their classroom. How could 20L of acid be used for experiments in a classroon let alone in primery school. Classes have resumed, so may not have been a terrible accident, but still it is a worry. :redcard:

Thanks for that link. Says a science laboratory. Are we sure it was a primary school? And I wonder what concentration and type of acid it was and how it happened. Curious arent I?

Yah, the first report I read, said primary school, but the news report said science lab. Not sure either.
