Bitter & Sour Solutions

I have been asked to provide, sweet (easy) salt (easy) bitter and sour solutions for tasting.

What can i do for sour and bitter - i thought lemon but what for and what to do for the other one?

I use Stop"n Grow

for the bitter?
and then use lemon for sour?

yes, for sour you can use sour lollies (Skittles)

We use lemon juice for sour and indian tonic water for bitter

I think we just use coffee from the staffroom for the bitter.

Yeah....we use black coffee for the bitter and vinegar in water for the sour.

Check your tonic water, because I bought a home brand one last year, and it had sweetener added to it. Kinda defeated the purpose really. The branded stuff in a little four pack was better, and that way you usually only need to open one bottle per class anyway. :thumbup:

Waste not...Buy a bottle of gin to go with it not forgetting the slice of lemon. And then give 'em black coffee for the taste test and yourself after too many G & T's. :thumbup:
