Little boxes

Post by cecmel »

Anyone out there got any bright ideas about where I could get small boxes for making jack-in-the-boxes? We currently use match boxes, but my supply of empty boxes is about to run out, and since hubby stopped smoking, I haven't been able to find a new supplier. Cheap would be good, free/recycled would be better.

Perhaps for next year you could put out a notice in your school news letter for people to keep their matchboxes from home? I'm sure there'd be a lot of people who use matches to light their winter fires and you might get a good supply from them.

I can save our used match boxes if you like, as we still light bunsens with matches. Have just thrown some out!
