soda glass tubing

Can anyone please help me. For the past 3 years I have been trying to purchase Soda Glass Tubing. It always seems to be put on back order and I don't receive it. Can someone please let me know where they purchuse their soda glass. I have had teachers asking for it and I do not have any left in supply.

I would make a few phone calls to suppliers and find out what the problem is.
Maybe they don't want to transport it as it's too fragile, then you might be able to pick-up

I'm pretty sure we got glass tubing of various diameters through Q Stores. I don't know if it was soda glass though.

I am in the same boat....so to speak.
I rang Haines last week and they no longer supply it. The glass was wrapped in bubble wrap and in tubes but usually arrived broken thus making it not worth keeping in stock.

Science Supply Australia (in Vic) also sell it but in 700mm lengths

My Office Max SCIENCE catalogue has Borosilicate glass tubing in 5mm, 6mm and 7mm diameters. 1 kg in 1.5m lengths for $22.60. Does it have to be soda glass?
