Yr 12 EES Hydrothermal vents

Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone out there has done a demo, simulation or whatever for the Yr 12 EES class on hydrothermall vents ("black smokers"). I did one years ago, but I forget how I did it (and didn't write anything down!!).
I'll be grateful for any help.

As I was reading this our HT said "check out these hydrothermal vents". Now how many times would 'hydrothermal vents' come up in conversation, or even in thinking!! Anyway, this is the website he was looking at. I don't know if it will be of any use to you.
