Hi everyone
Any ideas on the quickest and easiest way to resurrect nails which have been used in rusting experiments? Other than using sandpaper?

In my experience the nails are never quite the same again.. the rust tends to eat in to the nail. Considering that your time is money, cheaper to turf them and buy another bag of bright shiny new ones.

Sometimes I throw the nails into some HCl, bit of a fizz, then PRESTO! new nails!
