I've finally got my manifest together on chemffx. However, in my (one) flammable cabinet I have some incompatibilities. I have segregated via shelves but what is the difference between fire separation and segregation? Its telling me to segregate zinc from some other metals but also to fire separate Mg from Na?
Also for anyone who has only one flammables cabinet, where do you store liquids and solids together? or???
Thankfully I've finally got everything else sorted.....for now anyway
I have two cabinets - one for solids and one for liquids. However, within the liquids, there are seaparations that are required to be made. I have methanol in a container by itself on the bottom shelf of the flammable liquids cabinet, also some of spray paints cannot be stored with other spray paint cans.. makes life difficult for a school, as a lot of this se4paration, segregation is really more important if you have huge quantities.
