Rocks and Minerals subscription

Post by RosalieM »

Hey all,
Saw an ad on TV last night for a new magazine subscription. It looks very much like the 'real life bugs and insects' one only this one is rocks and minerals. I haven't checked it out for myself yet but I thought I'd let you all know it's "out there" in case anyone else is interested in it too. $1.95 for the first issue then I think $11.95 after that. I don't know how frequently it will come out.

I found the website link (saw the ad again and paid more attention!)

Hope this is helpful to someone. I have just emailed them asking how many issues they are expecting to release to get an idea of cost for budgets... When they get back to me I will pass the info on to you. Given the cost and difficulty of sourcing collections these days I think it could be a good investment for the school. The magazines that come with it look quite informative too! I am sure our year 7s would get a lot out of them when they do the topic at the end of the year.
