Does anyone have a prac for the Physics topic
THE WORLD COMMUNICATES - WAVES
Intensity drop with distance
I don't have a copy of textbook and I haven't been in Physics for over 10 years.
Previous Physics teacher used to get his own pracs whilst in a different area of the school
Can't find prac orders from past years either
Sorry I only get what the teacher orders. I rather think the teacher should be telling you what is in the topic, not the other way round. I know we are clever, but we don't get paid to think a lot! I must admit that I suggest things when I know something will work better. Anyway good luck!
Just goggle it
THE WORLD COMMUNICATES - WAVES
Intensity drop with distance
and see what it comes up with.
that is what i do when I know the teachers are trying to find a certain experiment and non of us can locate the book or paper work for it.
Good luck.
Try the loudness of the a speaker system as you increas the distance away from the speaker source. Almost inverse square law..

Hi Smee,
I think you are looking at "The inverse square law"
I have scanned a couple of pages from "Physics - Preliminary Course" (Jacaanda) that might help, (if I can upload the file)
Cheers
