Expirery message from Chemwatch Gold

Post by fibreweb »

When I accessed Chemwatch Gold this morning I got this message:

"Chemwatch Gold ( 2009/3) is due to expire in less than 14 days. Please make quality time with your administrator and implore for the next version to be installed"

I'm not sure if this means I have to go to the Principal( who probably hasn't even heard of Chemwtch Gold or has forgotten if he has) or is the administrator the Education Department and they will automatically update for us or what.

Does anybody know anything about this?

'Chemwatch are updating to ChemFFX, which is an enhanced version of Chemgold II, with additional features. After Aug 16 there will be a new web address

http://jr.<URL removed, see forum rules>/chemffx/

ChemFFX will have access to online video tutorials
user id's and passwords stay the same.'

This info came to me from AIS through our principal, it is worth checking with the principal, or your IT person. I know as an independant school we have to subscribe to Chemwatch, but I am not sure how this differs in DET schools

Hope this has helped

Cheers

This message appears from time to time. Don't worry about it. It disappears and the programme stays there.
