Sea water
Sorry might sould like a silly question, but does anyone have a recipe for artifical sea water. Since we are around 6hrs from the ocean. Boss asked is there anywhere between here and Sydney that he could get some maybe 2 millon years ago

Do you have The Laboratory by B Dungey?? If so see page 204 there is a recipe for artificial sea water.
This is it:
1.4g Magnesium chloride
9.9g magnesium sulfate
114g sodium chloride
5.7g potassium sulfate
6 litres water
Dissolve each ingredient separately in a portion of the water, then mix all the solutions and stir thoroughly. Aerate the mixture vigourously fo 48 hours and coll in the refrigerator.
For maintaining marine plants and animals.

my recipe that I have is,
To 1Litre of water : 22.5g NaCl
1.75g MgSO4
2.5g MgCl2
1.0g K2SO4
