INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD

Post by Rickerby »

Our school has just purchased a mimio interactive whiteboard. I have now been asked if I know of any science programs that other schools have found useful with this tool. Any ideas welcome.

Thanks

Clickview is the most frequently used here, because the teachers can add things they find.
The whiteboard is very popular, just wish we had one per Lab!

try a google search on interactive whiteboard/s and science. There are some great websites and lesson plans available which are designed specifically with the Int. W.B. in mind. You can get more specific in your searches if you are interested in a specific topic.

You can also pull in animations from the web (google "animations science" or something like that). If you can't find them with that, let me know. I found a site once that listed hundreds(?) of sites for animations, arranged by science topic). Some of the animations were fabulous. Some were a bit ordinary.

Cheers
