Brains for dissection

Post by ri »

Hi y'all,
I have a teacher dissatisfied with the sheep brains we supply for dissections. Sometimes no cerebellum /pituitary glands....also the size is a bit small. The local abattoir is not interested in supplying anything bigger than sheep.
Does anyone know of a supplier of something big (cow?) with all bits intact??
Cheers,
~Robyn

We use PIG'S brains, they are a little larger then sheeps. Have had no problems with them at all.
