Would all states now be back for Term 3????
Anyhow welcome back to another exciting and interesting time with chemtalk users. I really do look forward to all the questions and information. For us in NSW, this is the last term for Year 12.I for one, am going to miss them Today is staff development day for teachers, and the students return tomorrow. So I have a fairly easy day today.
Cheers

Welcome back to Term 3
Re: Welcome back to Term 3
Yes, and isn't it great to be back for this eleven week term.
How is everyone else spending the day - I have to do Emergency Care this afternoon even though I did it in November at the SASS Conference, and there is so much more I could be doing.

Re: Welcome back to Term 3
Hi everyone,
Term 3 is going to be very different for me. My transfer for an office job at another school has come through and at the time of writing I'm waiting to hear when I'll be starting.
Happy term 3 everyone

Congratulations Jo-Anne! I hope staffing didn't keep you waiting for too long as sometimes they can take a while to say the least. I waited 18 months for this position but now I'm here I can say it was worth it. All the best!

Re: Welcome back to Term 3
Sure thing we have 3 terms a year 1st is about 15 weeks(around 15 Feb - 1 June), then 2 weeks holidays 2nd is about 12 weeks (around 18 June - 7 Sept) then 2 weeks holidays and 3rd is about 12 weeks as well (24 Sept - 20th Dec).
Easter break is about 10 days
I get 4 weeks recreation/annual leave a year and that is to be taken when the school holidays are on, usually take it all at Christmas time but this year took a week in the June Holidays.
