Can some one tell me what the approximate shelf life of Bromine water is once made up from ampule please

g'day,
ours seems to last at least a year.
We use one 1mL ampoule for about 500mLs distilled water and then keep it in the fridge in a Schott bottle.

If youre bromine water has lost its bromine, it will be clear. So judge by colour
