Has anyone on here ever bought real copper ore? Not looking for the "home made" stuff we use in science. The Ancient History teacher has asked me about it! I said I'd see if I can find out where/how to get some. I haven't ever needed to purchase rocks/geology stuff so don't even know where to start looking for reputable suppliers. I'm hoping someone here can make me look amazing

You could try CSA Glencore Mine in Cobar NSW 0268365100 I'm sure they wouldn't mind sending you some if you explain it's for Educational purposes.

I have sourced real copper ore from drill holes from Rio Tinto. You could always fire off an email to their generic email adress. I have an inside contact but can't really share that.

Thanks I have emailed both places. I'll see if one gets back to me next week and then try making phone calls...
