12V Lamp globes

Post by Merilyn1 »

Hi All
What size globes are you buying for your lamps? Mine have 12V/5W globes but I can't find any of that size.
If this is the size you use, appreciate help in where to buy them!

I know places like Supercheap Auto etc sell 12v/5w for stop or tail lights which have two base contacts and offset pins. They also sell festoon bulbs (interior light bulbs) in that rating and also wedge globes in that rating. They all may be different to what you need as I not sure what you are using them with.

the last ones I bought are labelled something like Motorcycle Globes.
I'm not sure as I'm working in the library today so I can't check.
They work fine.

Thanks everyone. Yes, the box I had certainly had a reference to motor vehicles. Probably came from Serrata, which explains the MTA listing which isn't helpful if they don't have them.
I have to order some other things from Scientrific so will add them onto that order.
