Hello,

I'm posting to see if anyone has a recommended supplier for (medium/large) Potassium Permanganate Crystals? Currently we are using ChemSupply, however the pieces are very fine and not suitable for picking out individual crystals.

Has anyone purchased Potassium Permanganate from a chemist, and if so, are the pieces larger than ChemSupply's version?

I've attempted to crystallize a saturated solution this week, but unfortunately what remains is extremely similar in size to the original form of Potassium Permanganate.

I've also had teachers ask for these larger crystals for diffusion demos, and struggled to find a good source. Having bought the Gold Cross brand from a chemist, I found them still to be fine flakes, and not any better for this.
