Hi all,

has anyone purchased swan neck tubes recently?
If so, where from, please?
I'm being a slacker and don't really want to have to make them!

Check the search function for this site - swan neck glass tubes. Ian posted an image of an alternative swan neck. Plus there are also other suggestions.

Use plastic tubing bent into a loop and tied with string to hold it in place. Worked a treat. Easy to make and can't break!

You can by Airlocks from a Home Brew shop for bugger all .

The plastic tube worked fine for us. Love the ones for home brew

To begin with....I'm pretty hopeless at glass bending!
Do you all make your own swan neck tubes or do you purchase them?
I've done a bit of a search and can't find them at any suppliers.....I'm a DOE school.

Yes we bend our own glass tubing. When I got to our school we had lots of glass tubing already here and decided to bend ourselves, so I've never looked online for a supplier.

Perhaps try "swan-neck flask" instead.

there is an old file under the same name if you search it. Has some recommendations

I have now merge these together for every one
