What is the big, biannual conference in New Zealand called? I'm filling out my annual performance review and thought I'd think big!

No idea but you think big. No Conferences this year its such a shame. That SLAM also stopped,

I've been to these conferences in the past and can highly recommend attending.

ASET NSW will be holding the annual 2 day conference in September next year. Watch this space.

Hello all, Is there a Conference coming up any time soon?

ASET will be running their's again, I'm pretty sure. That isn't until September. CONASTA is held in July but can't remember what state it is in this year.

CONASTA is in Canberra this year.

Does anyone know if any conferences are being run this year? I just looked up St Mary's/SLAMN and saw it is no longer running!!! It was such a great conference and one of the things I was looking forward to when I returned to the labs! The ASET website doesn't appear to have been updated for a while. I haven't tried to look up CONASTA yet.

Don't hold me to this, but I think DoE stopped funding for SLAMN and they now run training days for their staff only. In recent years, there had been some sessions that were only available to DoE staff. ASET may be holding off advertising to see what covid does. It didn't run last year because of restrictions.

Yeah that makes sense. COVID has changed everything!! So glad we are not in the UK or US though...

CONASTA will be in September in Canberra this year (COVID permitting of course). I'm planning on going, luckily I even have free accommodation there!

Gosh, I hope so!

CONASTA 2023 will be held in Adelaide in July I went to it last year in Canberra and it was great!

Shame - in July I will be somewhere between Broome and Kakadu
