Applications close 31/7/16 and the position is due to commence on 1/8/16 (if, however, the chosen applicant could begin earlier then that would be great). The last lab assistant was being paid $30.56 per hour

Applicants should be appropriately trained Laboratory Technicians with initiative and well developed organisational and computing skills. Knowledge and understanding of the use of Chemwatch and the new Globally Harmonised System (GHS) for classifying and labelling chemicals is desirable. Experience working in a school environment is also highly preferable. 50 hours per fortnight, hours negotiable.
