Cleaning difficult glassware

I saw a video clip today of a guy cleaning out a large round bottomed flask.
It is the idea they have for cleaning the glass on fish tanks.
He got one of those sponges that have a scourer pad attached to one side. Cut it in half, made a slit between the scourer and the pad on each and put a magnet inside i.
Then inserted one of the pieces into the flask and used the other on the outside.
BY running the outside pad around , the inside one cleaned the muck of the flask.. viola!

Thanks for sharing this. I'll give it a try when things get a bit gunky! Now, all we need is a video of dealing with difficult teachers :giggle:

wellll..... I do have some ideas, but I think I would live rent free for life if I carried them out.
