Hi All
I need to purchase a wave motion apparatus (wave model). I've seen a few from the major suppliers that measure about 60cm. The HT has told me that she had a really large model at a previous school. She described it as being nearly a metre long. Anyone ever come across one this size?

M.

Yes we have one, but I have no idea where it came from, Perhaps ring around a few suppliers.

How big was that one, Noona? I notice the catalogue doesn't mention that it needs to be put together, that could have been a nasty surprise!

Think I got mine from Scientrific - about $120. Pretty good, shows waves in 3D. Needs a shot of WD40 every so often, especially up here.

i got that one too Noona, i got top yr 10 kids to put it together, then for physics teacher to say they did it wrong..i told the teacher to fix it...

I think its about 2-3m long and when it is together it shows all the different waves etc.
i did have a small plasctic one that you turned a handle and it worked...until that same teacher broke it..hmmmm.
