Cleaning Brass

Post by trish armstrong »

Hello,
I'm searching for a way to clean tarnished brass.. The quick way.. Usually sit there and rub with brasso. But was wondering if anyone knew of a 'solution' I could soak the brass in and give a quick rub and PRESTO clean shiny brass... [-o<
This is me being lazy, but would love some suggestions.
Many thanks,
Trish.

Warm vinegar with a few pinches of salt in it. Soak away.

Yep..vinegar and salt makes a mild hydrochloric acid I'm told. Cleans copperware too.
