Post by Cin »

The old ones are pass their due by date.

Thanks Cindy

“Teachers friendly" does NOT exist. :cry2:  They forget to turn them off, to wash between readings, leaving them in pH 1 solution whole period (80 minutes) etc. etc.
I just ordered pH meters from Jay car. I bought 6, $47 each, best part is 9 V batteries. If you want to buy more you can negotiate price (I always do)

Can someone help me.. I have always thought that distilled water should NOT show a 'pH', that any reading on the meter is random, but a teacher here isnsists that is not correct

It should drift back towards 7 but will always have a memory of last reading
Make sure it's washed well and returned to 7 before measuring distilled water
