Wasn't CSIS written in 1999?

On the NSW Department of Environment website it says:

"You need a licence to carry out taxidermy on or to keep preserved specimens of:

native animals
native animal parts, such as claws, bones or eggs
animals listed in the threatened species schedules of the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016.
For threatened species or birds of prey (such as eagles or owls), a licence will only be issued for scientific or educational uses, for example, to keep at a school or other educational facility."

Pretty clear that you need a licence to keep preserved specimens. You don't need a licence for domestic or feral animals.

I didn't know we needed a licence for these things! Looks like I'd better add that to my list of things to do...

WOW Check with Principal he/she may already have a licence tied up with the school?
