What about meal worms and light? They are light senitive. Put them in a shoe box with a light at one end. The pet shops sell them for food for other animals so easy to get hold of.

hi there Kate; snails, slaters and worms that you can send your children to source for you all react to stimulus (touch them with probes)

Hi Kate
We do stimulants and depressents with Daphnia. We get Daphnia from Southern Biological and put them in different solutions of caffiene( 1 No-Doz tablet/1L of water), ethanol 1mL/100mL water, salicylic acid 1g/100mL and distilled water then watch/time them under the microscopes.
