Help we have just moved to Picton - I need a Lab tech position near Camden/Picton area I have about 12 years experience in School Labs - full time part time casual -

Can I suggest that you put your resume out to all the local schools, you never know who will have a position waiting for someone to step into.

I hope this is not to late for you. There is a lab tech position going at Chevalier College in Bowral. That may be in computing distance for you??

Welcome to the area. I'm with Ian, it is God's own country, I live about 5k's down the road from Ian. The further south the better it gets, although a bit colder. I saw the post about the job at Chev - it's only about half an hour for you to travel, which, for the Picton area is close to home. You get used to travelling for everything, nothing is a five minute drive! And plenty of people make the trip to Wollongong to work, although you do have to deal with Picton Road, more known for it's tragic accidents than the scenery. It's been made worse with the freight ships now pulling into Port Kembla which means everything is then unloaded onto trucks to go to Sydney, many of them using Picton Road.

I got the job at Chev and I am so happy
thankyou all again this site is so good - there are so many hints tips and a great lot of people.
