ok Kathy.. now that I have finished having my little chuckle .... you could try this one. Tried and true , old family recipe.. handed down for millenia...'cause you never know when you need to come up with a good fake urine sample.. oops .. sorry... it must be coming up for the end of the year... !
Seriously now! try this one Kathy....
Dont know how close to the real thing you want to get... cause usually urea thrown in water is pretty close. But heres a more accurate recipe
Na Cl 14.1 g
K Cl 2.8 g
Urea 17.3 g
25% v/v ammonia soln 1.9 ml
Ca Cl2 0.6 g
Mg SO4 0.43 g
Make up to 1L with 0.02 M H Cl soln.
Source Tran T Nham.."Analysis of Urine.... by nebulisation with a high resolution ICP spectrometer"
Naturally produced Urine varies in conc, but this should get you out of trouble. (Could pop in a drop of yellow food colouring for effect, if it wont interfere with the test results)

Sample B
0g Glucose
0.6g NaCl
0g Albumen
2.0g Urea
pH approx.6
Sample C
1.4g Glucose
0.6g NaCl
0g Albumen
2.0g Urea
add 2mL 2M NaOH
Sample D
0.5g Glucose
5.0g NaCl
0g Albumen
2.0g Urea
pH approx.6
Sample E

0g Urea
pH 7
Food colours or stains can be added to suit.
Egg white can be used for albumen, but powdered albumen works best. This is available from chemical suppliers, or small amounts can be obtained from cake decorating shops or sometimes from bakeries(product usually known as "Actiwhite").
