Hi Labbie
I bought a box of 500 plastic petrie dishes earlier this year from (the dreaded) Serrata. $85 for the box. I was told they were sterile at manufacture but not resterilised after packaging. I have had another box here since I came, that has worked perfectly for agar plates, so i didn't see the resterilising as a problem.

Hi labbie
Southern biological in Melbourne gets us compartmented petri dishes from Carolina Biological. The product codes are Np-74-1330 for two 25mL compartments, NP-74-1332 for three 15mL compartments or NP-74-1334 for four 11mL compartments they're not to expensive but they get them in from America so sometimes you a little wait.
Its nearly HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi labbie,
you could also try Livingstone. They have dishes divided into 2/3&4 sectors. Pkt 20 is about $7.50 Product code: A121-20 3 sectors or A131-20 4 sectors
