Hello everyone,
I am in the middle of updating/ compiling the school chemical register. Anyway the only problem is that I can't find a MSDS for the cap's for the PE cap gun. Looked on chemwatch tried all names, no luck.
All the box they came in said was Caps, fireworks D/1.4s, Made in Tiawan.
If you Know anything or can help I would really appreciate it.
Thanks Trish.

Try "Armstrong's mixture" - it's often what's used to make toy cap gun "rounds".

Hey Trish, Just paid attention to your last name! Funny eh?
Armstrong's mixture is explosive, but one definition is that it "deflagrates" rather than "detonates".

Hi Trish, We store them for PE, and I could only find Meteors Party Poppers, Head teather said that was fine, it cloved our backs, so to speak.

Well I finally decided to put two different MSDS in the folder for the PE dept.
I placed the party popper MSDS and I also placed one for Primer caps. Though I believe they may be for the production of bullets. They have the same dangerous goods and packaging class.
I Have no other information to go by.
So until I hear any replys from the providers of the caps these two MSDS will have to do.
Anyone ever finding one please share!
Thanks for all the help.
Trish

This might be a bit too late, but it may be of help to some of you out there. I have a Chemwatch M.S.D.S for sports PE signal caps, it took forever to finally be listed on Chemwatch. I will email it to anybody who requests it, unfortunately it's too big to send here.
