Merry Christmas

Post by nickyw »

Seen as our computers are out as of tomorrow I would like to wish everyone on chemtalk a very merry christmas and a happy and prosperous new year. :D :D :D

I am heading up to Cairns to have xmas with my brother and sister and their families and maybe doing a bit of snorkelling at Green Is (best place ever). :clap3:

I will get to see my nephew for the first time in 6 months as he has joined the navy so it will be very special. \:D/

Cheers everyone :drunk: and enjoy your break......we deserve it. :giggle:

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Post by vlclabbie »

Hi fellow Techies!

Just wanted to wish you all a VERY magical Christmas & relaxed & safe New Year with your families!

If you're travelling be safe,
If you're staying home enjoy the break!

My last day today (YAYAYAYAYAY :clap3: ). I also wanted to say a VERY BIG thank you to all of you who have so selflessly shared your hard earned knowledge of the school lab tech world with me (a newbie this year). It's been a fun one! Thanks also for the wonderful jokes (read 'keeping me sane') & freebies that have come my way - "Stickie the First" is still going strong! I really appreciate it all & have enjoyed being part of your 'family'.

Catch you all next year (although I'm sure I'll still be checking in regularly....!).

Cheers Kel

Merry Christmas to all those finishing this week, and best wishes for your holiday plans \:D/ Enjoy!

Should get first 2 labs and P/R handed back tomorrow, so I think Christmas has come already, with a whole week to start moving things back in!
Even better, the students finish after Speech Day tomorrow, so the staff can really concentrate on the job (hmm, well maybe I'd better just speak for myself :giggle: )

Blessings to all,
Liz

I'd been wondering if there was anybody out there :w00t:

Lunch time and no messages from anybody.

I've spent the last couple of days sorting out 6 drawers of fossils. My son who is doing Palaeontology at UNI come in and sorted them into piles with names beside them. I have learnt so much about them in the last 2 days. I now have 5 containers with class size easy to carry specimins and several drawers of the larger more spectacular specimins.

As a state school we still have another week to go. It's so frustrating not being able to get into my new labs to get them sorted before the holidays as it will be bedlam when we return in January :hitthefan:

Wishing everybody a Very Merry Christmas and good year in 2010.

Merry christmas to one and all. Its been great reading your notes. Isn't it wonderful we come to work and clean wash floors and benches etc and then go home to do it all over again to get ready for christmas in our homes. I just sit there and laugh as crying won't get the work done.

Hope to speak to all of you next year.
