Afternoon T at Oxley High

Post by fibreweb »

Next thursday afternoon, after school, the Tamworth area labbies are coming here to Oxley High to view our 3 new labs and prep room. :clap3:

If there is anyone else within driving distance who would like to have a look, you are more than welcome to come also. Just let me know.

We have so far had 3 labs and the prep room done, the other 4 labs are in various stages at the moment. Our Dry Lab is still a work in progress.

Thanks, Robb, and we'd love to have you join us!

Same goes for all Chemtalkers - please get in touch if you're ever passing through our area.

We are very lucky to have an enthusiastic and close-knit network of permanent and casual labbies, both DET and private, which includes not only all the schools in Tamworth, but the surrounding towns of Quirindi, Gunnedah, Manilla and Walcha. Some of our members happily travel over an hour each way, and we try to get together every term.

There's a large contingent of us coming to St Marys this year, so be prepared for a North West invasion, LOL! :w00t:

Wish that I could have made it but we are getting new floor covering in our old prep room and one of our un renoed labs and got two days notice :w00t: to have them empty so guess what flat out emptying the prep room.
Got any photos of prep room we could see as that is what i really want to have a look at. How much space is there. What have you got stored in there and that sort of thing :?: .

Hope you all had a great afternoon :coffee: .

Kim, we missed you too, and can only imagine how much work was involved.

Hope you have a quiet weekend to recover, but knowing how busy you are....

Just keep thinking of the fun we'll have in Sydney next week \:D/

Meanwhile, best wishes with it all

After noon T was great, Thanks all for coming and it was great to be able to show the new prep room and labs.

I have taken some photos which I will print, laminate and bring down to St Marys next week.

At the moment we have only wet labs finished.
