Hi there chemtalk family!
This is the first year we have included Earth and Environmental studies for our seniors and the teacher was wondering how others do the experiment for anerobic respiration. Can anyone help me with ideas? I'd be ever so grateful....
Thank you,
Lou P.

Re: Anerobic Respiration
Hi Louise,
your message is from May so I don't know if this is helpful anymore......but I stumbled across your post while searching for another recipe so I thought I'd respond anyway.
We do an anaerobic respiration prac using yeast & glucose solutions. I've attached a copy of the method & equipment.
It's quick & easy & usually works nicely (unless you've got a class of nimrods that don't understand the instruction 'add the yeast to the glucose' )
Cheers,
Kiah
