Off to Uni Again

Post by Robb »

Hi All,

I am off to Uni once again, This means that I will not be in the Moderator seat until Monday 22/09/08. I will try to contact the Chemtalk family to see what’s happening during my breaks or afternoons (If not in the library doing some further reading.

Until then,

See you next week,

Cheers,

Robb.....

Hi All,

Just to answer Loopy's question, I am continuing my follow up on my Ph.D. Something that has to be constantly done as part of you Doctorate, this way you keep up to date with things, and teach the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.

I can then also get into the heads of the Education faculty to see how I can fast track my Teaching Dergree.

Have a great rest of the week...

Cheers,

Hi Robb
My,my all this study and work is going to make you such an expert that I fear you are certain to leave us. How wonderful that you have the incentive and drive to continue with Uni. to better your qualifications. However I believe scientists receive paltry wages. Please correct me if I am wrong!!! In my opinion though, I firmly believe that all scientists and researchers should be paid as much as any CEO of these huge companies. Take care and good luck and I wish you much success. =D> =D> =D>
Cheers

Hi All,

Good question, I have two answers to this a relative answer and a more philosophical answer, both of which you will find either funny or mind blowing..

1. How long is a piece of string... double the length from one side to the middle.

2. My answer to the other question is this.... A piece of string can be measured as a form of length, length is a unit measure for distance, distance is proporptional to space and time. This is true because we use speed to measure distance and time so therefore we can see that a length of string can be linked carefully to the Universe as distance can now be directly proportional to Space and time and hence the speed of the universe can now be brought into perspective.

Now for the big finale... The speed of the universe is accelerating so now we can link the piece of string to the speed of the universe and nowsince we know the expanding universe is forever growing then this means that the width of the universe is proportional to how long a piece of string is.

Cheers,

Robb.....
