I'm new to the site but looks like lots of interesting info.
The shelving in our prep room is being replaced over the hols. Can't find anything definitive in the rules & regulations re their composition. Laminated mdf vs metal? Any words of wisdom? I want built in laminated shelves with solid division to keep classes separate. Admin want pre built stainless steel open type shelving- less disruption in store with dangerous chemicals. My flammables cabinet & a new pvc corrosives cabinet are in the same room. Thanks

Do a search on the site for this topic. If you search for "chem. stores" you will find some talk. I'm pretty sure there were other threads that covered this too, but I could be wrong.
