Does anyone know what oil they use in plastercine, my big blocks were hard so put fanheater on to soften Then I got Side-tracked a lot of oil came out now I wish to rejuvenate and wondering what oil to use to soften?

Investigating on web found it is made with motor oil I tried kneading it with some parrafin oil and it became smooth again not crumblly!
Sorry I've got to get back to Pl opps working with my plasterscine

:-) Hi Ocker... great idea.. I have some hard plastacine blocks that I wqas reluctant to though out.. Paraffin oil sounds good... and theraputic! :lol: R-S

I have always just popped my hard plasticine in the microwave to soften.
Take it slowly though!!

Place in incubator on low temp (20C) for a few hours. When soft and pliable store in resealable sandwich bags.
