very small safety glasses
Hi All,
I have just discovered that next years Yr7 intake includes a little girl that is only the size of a 5-6 yr old. Our safety goggles are far too big on her, does anybody know of a supplier that has very small safety goggles. My catalogues all seem to have just the normal sized ones.
Maybe we will have to approach the local optometrist to have some specially made.
Thanks,
Wendy

Re: very small safety glasses
One of the catalogues we received recently was boasting about small glasses for juniors for around $10 each. It will be on my desk somewhere - can't be buried too deeply! When I fish it out I'll get back to you again.

If you have no luck with small safety glasses have you thought of goggles with an adjustable elastic strap? They might be better than nothing.

Found it! I knew it couldn't be too far away. They are called Mini B, product code G12.35 from Southern Biological. What is your fax number and I can send it to you?

Why are we so technology-dependent? If occured to me that I could use my brain and fingers to look you up in the phone book... Will head up to the office to send the fax.

What about "Swimming Goggles"? They come in all sizes and are readily available and fairly water/splash resistant.

Re: very small safety glasses
Thanks Rosalie for the fax.
The "mini-B' glasses look good and on their website they mention a Micro Junior Safety glasses. I have written to them asking which would be smaller as I will need the smallest available.
Ian, I hadn't thought of swimming goggles, they would probably work also.

Small Goggles
Hi all in labbie land,
I've had a look through most of the catalogues I have, and can't find anything on small goggles. We are always needing the odd pair for the odd small head that turns up. I've tried the 'rubber bands around the end' trick, but on some kids it's not successful. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Small Goggles
This isn't much help, but I know they are out there!! I have seen them advertised. I just don't remember where, and I doubt I kept it... but keep looking because they ARE available somewhere!
