Previously , this had to be done in Adobe Photoshop or other high end image programs .
This is now a reality with Microsoft Paint on Windows 11 version .
The purpose of removing the background can be simply to make labels of equipment . If you save the image as a PNG file , it can be placed over text or other images without the white box that happens with JPEG files .
OK
so first open Paint .It is usually comes with all the Microsoft office Software .
Then open the picture you wish to process and click on the "remove background" Icon in the top left
The background will be removed and replaced with white .
Click on the "layer" icon on the top right
The Layers will appear on the Right of the screen .
Now hover mouse over the bottom layer box and an Eye will appear.
Click on "Hide background"
The white part will now become checkered.

Re: How to remove image background.
Crop the background to close to the image .This will reduce the file size .
Now save the File
Click on Save as PNG
Saving as a PNG means that only the image will be visible when you open it in another program making layering images a reality .
If you save it as a JPEG , it will have a white background .
Now when you open the picture , say in a word document , you can place the image on top of another without the dreaded white box.
