last week one of my new teachers asked for vitamin C tablets for the kids to use to wash of their fingers that accidently touched the pot, perm.
Didn't see how well it worked but the teacher says that it's great.

\:D/ I found this old thread, tried some Citric acid (a teaspoon in about 200ml) and could not believe the limewater stains on the glassware disappeared almost within seconds! What a win!
