Dissolved CO2 Sensor

Post by Kim »

Hi all, Does any one have a Dissolved CO2 monitor, or have thoughts on one?

We use Vernier sensors and only have a gaseous CO2 sensor. However they don’t routinely make a dissolved CO2 sensor.

However I’ve just discovered that PASCO make a waterproof semi-permeable sleeve for their gaseous CO2 sensor – so it can be used as a dissolved CO2 sensor! (https://ciderhousetech.com.au/product/w ... o2-sensor/)

So I’m wondering if anyone who uses PASCO used this waterproof sleeve with their gaseous CO2 sensor? Were the results for dissolved CO2 any good?

Any suggestions on alternatives also welcome! 😊

Thanks!
Kim.

Yes we use these all the time and have a class set. We used then on a regular basis for CO2 gas and probably 4 times per year for dissolved. So we only purchased 5 sleeves for our sensors. They are so easy to use and have very good repeatable results. If you have the cash, a good investment. You run them through Sparkview which is free downloadable software from Ciderhouse or the Pasco website. I have not heard a bad thing about them as yet and many schools we interact with use them.
