We are dry for today. I don't think the ground has been dry since last year! PD week for staff this week. I have just finished cleaning off a bench top that hasn't been cleared since before I started here 18 months ago! It is a MARVELLOUS feeling!

I get that Rosalie .Quiet day here so hoping to find mine too .
It was a PL day for us yesterday . We had a Mid North Coast Labbies get together after 2 years of not being able . It was great to see old faces and greet the new ones .
Not looking forward to this term . 2/3rds of our science teachers have left so there are a lot of casuals .

We used to have an excellent labbies network up in Tamworth when I was there. I am yet to find one where I am now (Port Stephens area). The schools are all too far apart I think!
I hope your casuals are good to you!

Re: Welcome back everyone
Can you believe it? Came down with covid in the first week. First hubby and son on the Wednesday - hubby and I were away camping and had to come home. I tested positive on the Friday. And don't believe all this talk that covid is just like a head cold. Worst sore throat I have ever had - couldn't talk, sleep, eat or eventually even drink. Had to get my #1 to ring the Health Direct line for help then had to call on a friend to go to the chemist as we were all in iso.
Back at work today, PD week for us and I am really struggling. Really take care. These new variants are terrible.

Hubby and I had covid in the holidays too. Definitely NOT the way to spend the holidays
Mine was like a headcold and I just wanted to sleep all day.
His was more flu-like, with aches and pains, headaches, stomach pain and felt like he had sand or grit in his eyes. Nearly 3 weeks later he is only just starting to feel a bit better. Of course I couldn't resist calling it 'Man Covid'
