Hi all,
I am trying to source an organic base in replacement of diethylamine as I cannot source it from westlab or any Australian suppliers.
The prac is for a year 12 chem class and is only to Ph test, we have no base organics and the teacher has not offered much assistance in finding a replacement.

Re: Organic bases
What is another name for diethylamine?
Diethylamine, also known as DEA or (C2H5)2nh, belongs to the class of organic compounds known as dialkylamines. These are organic compounds containing a dialkylamine group, characterized by two alkyl groups bonded to the amino nitrogen.

Re: Organic bases
I googled this - aldehyde, ketone, alcohol and ether are all organic bases.
