Chair Damage

Post by bigmack »

Last term it was Tic-Tock "steal something from school and post a pic"

Then it was smash the toilet Cisterns off the wall ...and post a pic of it .

Well now we have Saw the backs of classroom chairs with the Ear strap of Face masks .It's happening at other Schools around here as well .

When will this willful damage to school property stop .
I just threw another 3 chairs in the dumpster this week ...and that's just from Science .

And it's not just the damage. We had one kid lean back on his chair (as they do ) and it snapped because it was weakened with a Face mask strap ( which the schools have to hand out to the kids as they never have their own ) .
Someones going to suffer a bad back injury.

NO! I didn't know about the Tik Tok stuff. We did have a toilet cistern smashed early this year and that has never happened before.
How do they manage to saw through. You guys must have some good quality PPE up your way.

Vandalism is a shocking waste and and a crime against the environment. It is much harder to create rather then destroy - make creation the challenge, not senseless destruction.

Such a waste, so far we have only had 1 chair done in science (that I know of). Here's hoping the next fad is less destructive!

We've had a few sawn off chairs here too.
My response when I first saw this: who thinks of these things?

I work one day a week at another school, and the head teacher just told me that its happening here too!
They thankfully caught some students to stop it before it got worse.
Can't believe they do this

Aparently another Tik Tok video of blocking toilets with boxes of tissues. Where do they get these ideas from. We are no longer handing out boxes of tissues.

Oh no! Thanks for sharing this Macca. I've passed the info onto our deputy and shared it with the Science teachers.
