Manganese Dioxide

Hi
I found really old bottle of Manganese dioxide and it is banned at school (according to CSIS). could you please tell me what should I do with that? I don't know where did they get that from? If it's banned why they got that!! and wanted to know if you guys have this chemical at school or not?!

Manganese (IV)oxide = Manganese Dioxide is Yr7-12

Manganese(VII) Oxide = Manganese heptoxide is banded according to my hardcopy of CSIS

Oh thank you bigmack.I did a mistake ,I checked Manganese(VII) instead of IV
