eyes for dissection
Where do you get your eyes for dissection? We are in Sydney and our current supplier cannot deliver anymore.

Re: eyes for dissection
I get ours now from Dissection Connection, I tell the teachers they need 1 week notice for dissecting stuff, so I have time to order it in. Our butcher was charging ~$5 each eye, got costly, DC are a little cheaper when I added freight, and she is very nice to deal with

Re: eyes for dissection
Anyone use dissection connection for eyes? Can you tell me about the quality? What are the lenses like when they are defrosted? Are they cloudy? Any other comments in general?
Thanks

Re: eyes for dissection
We dissected some pigs' eyes last week from Dissection Connection. I didn't pay that much attention to be honest, but no complaints from the teacher.

Could you ask what they thought of the lenses?

Re: eyes for dissection
We use them for eyes every year and the teachers always happy with them. Lenses always appear clear, but I have never used fresh so not sure if they are as clear. Definitely not cloudy though.
