Moulding Latex

Post by cactus155 »

Anyone got any idea where to buy Moulding Latex other than through a chemcial supply company as I don't want to buy a product and pay about $25 fright just for 1 product and the teacher needs it quicker than the week or so it will take to get to me??
Thanks

Andrew,
I would try some boat building companies. Maybe, companies that make wetsuits? I don't know about you, but when trying to find an unusual item, I try to make whoever I am talking to part of the project. That way I end up with lots of help. And sometimes, the item for free. I have mink, sable and other fur offcuts for static electricity that I got for free. Draw them in; make them feel good about helping you.

Thanks for that Voice, I ended up asking one of the Art teachers here and they told me to go to a Fibreglass shop and they had moulding latex for $18 for one litre.
